Request for Formal Bid

The Toppenish School District is inviting qualified contractors to submit formal bids for the following project:

Project Title: Lighting Retrofit Project
Location: Kirkwood Elementary and Middle School

Scope of Work:
The project includes removal and replacement of light fixtures and lights. Full details of the scope of work, specifications, and requirements will be available in the official bid documents. Mandatory walk through is February 17, 2025, starting at 9:00am, main entrance at the middle school.

Bid Submission Requirements:
Bidders must submit a detailed proposal that includes:

• A cost breakdown (labor, materials, equipment, etc.)
• Project timeline
• Relevant qualifications and experience
• Required licenses and insurance documentation
• References from previous clients

Deadline for Submission:
Sealed bids must be received no later than February 27, 2025 at 12 noon. Late bids will not be
considered.

Compliance with Laws:
The awarded contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Washington State laws and regulations, including licensing, bonding, prevailing wage, and insurance requirements.

Other:
Construction hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm. Contractor is responsible for all permits. Work must be completed no later than June 30, 2025.

Contract Award:
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, meeting the specifications and requirements of the project. The school district reserves that right not to award certain areas of the bid.

Toppenish School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
