Last night at Yakima Valley College, we had the privilege of having Dr. Lolita Ceja present for an insightful workshop focused on developing an authentic knowledge base for engaging with the Since Time Immemorial Curriculum. Participants deepened their understanding of local Tribes, learned about key leaders in justice work across Washington State, and explored the impact of generational trauma on education. We also delved into storytelling pedagogy, equipping educators with strategies to foster authentic engagement in the classroom.
